The “Abai Journal of Biological Sciences” (AJBS) provides immediate and unrestricted open access to published materials without any subscription or payment barriers.

All articles published in the journal become freely available immediately upon publication. The journal does not charge any fees for access to or use of its materials.

Readers are granted the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or create links to the full texts of articles, provided that applicable copyright laws are respected and the original source of publication is properly cited.

Authors retain copyright over their works and grant the journal the right of first publication under an open-access license: Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows third parties to share the material provided that proper attribution is given and a link to the original publication in the journal is included, but it does not permit modifications or commercial use.

The editorial board believes that open access to scientific research results contributes to the development of science, accelerates the dissemination of knowledge, and improves the quality of education.
